We’re available by phone from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM  How does Cargowatch differentiate itself from other providers such as nShift/Transsmart, DeliveryMatch and Sendcloud? Cargowatch is more than just a shipping software (TMS) provider. We act as a logistics intermediary, negotiating and managing our own framework agreements while also providing services such as exception management, performance management and invoice verification. What is Cargowatch’s revenue model? Cargowatch’s revenue model includes, among other things, a monthly subscription fee. In addition, we generate revenue through savings achieved under our framework agreements with carriers. Will I be assigned a dedicated contact person? We have structured our processes to ensure seamless continuity across our customer service team. All team members have access to the same resources and are fully equipped to support you in your day-to-day shipping operations. Rather than relying on a single dedicated contact person, you benefit from the expertise and availability of our entire team. This ensures continuity and reliable support, even when a team member is unexpectedly unavailable. Can CargowatchShipper also be integrated with my ERP system? Absolutely! In fact, the platform is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing ERP and WMS systems, allowing orders to be automatically processed and prepared for dispatch.   Which carriers can I use to send parcels with CargowatchShipper? The platform gives you access to over 200 carriers worldwide. In addition, Cargowatch has framework agreements with a selection of leading partners across CEP, road, air and sea transport. What if I want to work with a carrier that Cargowatch does not have a framework agreement with? That’s no problem. Depending on the situation, we can develop a tailored solution to integrate the carrier into the platform. Do I have to use Cargowatch’s framework agreements, or can I continue to use my own carrier agreements? We offer a hybrid solution, giving you the flexibility to continue using your existing carrier agreements. These agreements can be uploaded to CargowatchShipper and are automatically included in the available shipping options. You remain the account holder, which means the carrier continues to invoice you directly. Cargowatch can provide the same range of services for these shipments, including exception management, performance management and invoice verification. For this service, we charge an administration fee. This means you benefit from the same level of support and control, regardless of whether you use your own carrier agreements or Cargowatch’s framework agreements.  What does Cargowatch do if a carrier is consistently performing below the agreed service levels? We continuously monitor carrier performance. If a carrier consistently fails to meet the agreed service levels, Cargowatch will proactively address the issue with the carrier and work towards a solution. If performance does not improve, you have the flexibility to switch to a different servicelevel or even to another carrier within the network. Do you also carry out invoice checks? As we track the details of every consignment – including its specifications and the service booked – we can also verify carrier invoices for any discrepancies. If we identify an incorrect charge, Cargowatch will address it directly with the carrier and, where necessary, ensure that the invoice is corrected. Do I need to liaise with carriers myself, or does Cargowatch handle all carrier communication on my behalf? Our customer service team manages all day-to-day communication with carriers on your behalf, including exception and performance management. Through CargowatchPortal, you have full visibility of every consignment, including its current status and the actions Cargowatch is taking to resolve any issues. This means you remain fully informed and in control, without having to manage the carrier communication yourself. What are the advantages of a multi-carrier approach compared with relying on a single carrier? The benefits include greater flexibility to select the most suitable carrier and service for each consignment, reduced reliance on a single carrier, a stronger negotiating position on rates, and greater continuity when disruptions affect one of your carriers. Why do I have to pay a monthly fee? A monthly fee is charged for the setup, maintenance and ongoing management of CargowatchShipper. Carrier connections, rates and surcharges change regularly, so we continuously update this information within the platform.
